How BTS delivers a project
Every BTS project, from a home to a program to a building, follows the same standard project plan. It keeps community in charge, Elders at the table, and delivery accountable.
Yarn first
Every project starts with community. We listen before we plan: with the families affected, with Elders, and with the people who will do the work.
Scope & feasibility
We define what the project is, what it costs, what Country needs, and who we need beside us. Cultural feasibility holds the same weight as financial feasibility.
Approval
The Board approves the plan; the Elders Council approves the cultural approach. Nothing proceeds without both.
Funding & partners
We secure funding and formalise partnerships across government, philanthropic and commercial sectors, on terms that keep BTS in control of delivery.
Deliver on Country
Local workforce first: traineeships and paid roles for our own people wherever the work allows, each with a Cultural Mentor from day one.
Handover, care & review
The project is handed to the people who will live with it. We review what worked, record what we learned, and fold it back into the next project.
